Information we process
When you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. To protect the form from abuse, we also retain a one-way hash derived from the request IP address and a limited user-agent value. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request and security logs, including IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, and browser information.
Calculator pages should not require an account, and calculator inputs are not currently submitted or stored because regulated calculations are not yet enabled.
Cookies and local storage
The Laravel application may use necessary session and security cookies for features such as form validation and CSRF protection. Optional analytics and advertising are disabled by default in the codebase. If either is enabled later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before deployment.
Analytics, advertising, and third parties
AfricalHub includes dormant, reusable advertising locations, but no advertising provider is rendered unless it is explicitly configured. Google AdSense or another provider may process device identifiers, cookies, IP addresses, and usage data if enabled in the future. External source links take you to third-party sites governed by their own policies.
Retention and security
Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Operational logs follow the hosting provider's configured retention. Reasonable technical measures are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. Contact us with enough information to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity.
Children's privacy
AfricalHub is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly solicit their personal information.
International processing
Infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your country. Appropriate safeguards should be reviewed when production providers are selected.
